MANILA, Philippines — Two Filipino passengers bound for Indonesia were intercepted at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) after authorities suspected them to be victims of illegal recruitment and human trafficking, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) said Friday. According to the bureau, a 31-year-old male and a 30-year-old female attempted to depart for Bali via a Cebu Pacific flight on May 4.
