MANILA, Philippines — A total of 29 areas are expected to reach “danger” level heat indices on Tuesday, May 12, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa). Heat index, which refers to the heat the body feels when air temperature and humidity are combined, is automatically categorized as “danger” level once it ranges between 42°C and 51°C.
