TACLOBAN CITY — Seventy-seven members of the Citizen Armed Force Geographical Unit (Cafgu) in Eastern Visayas received a total of P9.61 million in separation gratuity from the Philippine Army’s 8th Infantry Division (8ID) in recognition of their years of service in peace and security operations. The financial assistance was distributed on April 30, 2026, through the Division CAFGU Active Auxiliary Office (DCAO) and released via respective infantry battalions across the region, the 8ID said in a statement issued on Sunday, May 10.
