MANDAUE CITY, Cebu – The 66 families living near the Mactan Expo whom authorities temporarily relocated have returned to their homes following the end of the ASEAN Leaders’ Summit. The families returned on Saturday after staying for 12 days in a resort in Cordova town as part of security preparations for the summit held last May 7 and 8. The relocation began on April 27, with residents allowed to return home on May 9. The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit and related events ended on that day.
