CEBU CITY, Philippines — As the 48th Asean (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) Summit came to a close, its leaders agreed not only to reinforce collaboration but also to adopt future-proofing strategies for member countries. During the summit retreat on Friday, May 8, the regional bloc, led by Philippine president Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr., its current chair, unveiled the “Lead, Sail, Rise” framework.
