LAPU-LAPU CITY, Cebu — Tropical depression Caloy may further weaken into a remnant low on Monday, May 11, the state weather bureau reported. The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) earlier said the weather system will downgrade into a low pressure area (LPA) due to “unfavorable environment” conditions. As of 4 a.m. Monday, Pagasa located the center of the tropical depression at 530 kilometers east of Guiuan, Eastern Samar, moving west northwestward at 15 kilometers per hour.
