MANILA, Philippines — After three championship heartbreaks, the Criss Cross King Crunchers finally had their crowning moment in Spikers’ Turf. In their fourth consecutive finals appearance, King Crunchers outlasted the Japanese guest team, Kindai University, in a five-set classic, 25-15, 25-21, 23-25, 23-25, 22-20, in the winner-take-all Invitational Conference final in front of a good Saturday crowd at FilOil EcoOil Centre.
