MANILA, Philippines — The heat index is forecast to peak at a dangerous 44°C on Wednesday in Infanta, Quezon, according to the the latest heat index forecast issued by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa). Pagasa also said that nine other areas will experience danger-level heat indices. Under this category, the heat index ranges from 42°C to 51°C.
