LUCENA CITY, Quezon – The municipality of Infanta, Quezon continued to experience dangerously high temperatures after recording another extreme heat index on Thursday, June 4. In its heat index bulletin issued at 5 p.m., the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Infanta registered a heat index of 45 degrees Celsius. The northern Quezon town recorded a scorching 49°C on Wednesday. Infanta has been experiencing persistently high heat index levels in recent days, registering 45°C on May 29 and 31, and 44°C on May 30 and June 1.
