LUCENA CITY, Quezon — Police arrested four individuals on Thursday, May 7, for alleged illegal practice of medicine and swindling after they reportedly victimized nine persons, including four boys, in Candelaria, Quezon. In a belated report released Friday, Quezon police said officers arrested alias “Jhon,” 29, identified as a physical therapist, along with three alleged accomplices during an operation in Barangay Bukal Sur at around 12:05 p.m. Based on the victims’ statements, police said Jhon, a bisexual man, allegedly posed as a medical practitioner and reportedly performed circumcision procedures on the four boys.
