MANILA, Philippines — A trial chamber of the International Criminal Court (ICC) has granted the request of lawyer Dov Jacobs to withdraw as the associate counsel of former President Rodrigo Duterte in his crimes against humanity case. A day after being informed of the request of the French lawyer to leave Duterte’s defense team, the Trial Chamber (TC) III on Friday said it saw that “no prejudice arises or inconvenience is caused” from this move.
