Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro โ The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) of Lubang has ordered the implementation of a no-sail policy from Wednesday to Friday due to rough sea conditions caused by the southwest monsoon or Habagat. In Memorandum No. 010, Series of 2026, signed by Mayor Michael L. Orayani, who also serves as MDRRMC chairperson, all types of sea vessels are prohibited from venturing into the sea until further notice as strong winds and high waves continue to threaten the safety of sea travelers, fisherfolk, and vessel operators.
