MANILA, Philippines — The proposal to collect a P240 immigration fee from international travelers to fund the modernization of the Bureau of Immigration’s (BI) security systems at the country’s main ports is “still under study” and may not be implemented at all, Palace press officer Claire Castro said on Tuesday.
