MANILA, Philippines — The bid of Leyte Rep. Martin Romualdez to lift the precautionary hold departure order (PHDO) against him was denied by the Sandiganbayan. In a resolution dated June 1 but made public on Wednesday, the Sandiganbayan Seventh Division denied Romualdez’s motion for reconsideration of the court-issued PHDO against him.
