Senate grants PH citizenship to Gilas prospects Diouf, Means

MANILA, Philippines–The Senate on Monday granted Philippine citizenship to Gilas Pilipinas prospects Maodo Malick Diouf and Elizabeth Means, although some lawmakers questioned the latter’s absence during the plenary approval. While 20 senators unanimously voted to approve Diouf’s application, only 17 voted in favor of Means’ petition, two were against it while one abstained from voting. Sen.
