Treasure hunting tragedy: 2 found dead, 1 missing in Bohol cave

LAPU-LAPU CITY, Cebu — Two alleged treasure hunters were found dead inside a cave in Purok 3, Barangay Poblacion in Dogohoy town, Province of Bohol, on Friday, May 8, 2026. A fellow hunter also went missing, and authorities are still searching for him. The victims were identified as alias “Mar,” age not known, and alias “Raymundo,” 35 years old.
