Truck helper killed after mixer truck rolls backward in Samboan

LAPU-LAPU CITY, Cebu — A 53-year-old truck helper was killed after he was struck by a concrete mixer truck that rolled backward due to an apparent mechanical failure in Barangay Cambigong, Samboan town, on Tuesday afternoon, July 28, 2026. The victim was identified as Reymund Alberca Lanticse, 53, single, a truck helper, and a resident of Sitio Dubdub, Barangay Bogo, Argao town.
