MANILA, Philippines — The United States has revoked the visas of former House Speaker Martin Romualdez, Philippine Ambassador to Washington Jose Manuel “Babes” Romualdez confirmed on Friday. “We were informed. It’s a decision made by the U.S. State Department,” the ambassador told Inquirer when asked whether the Philippine Embassy had received formal communication from US authorities regarding reports of the visa revocation. The ambassador did not provide further details on the reason for the revocation.
