Why House members voted against Sara Duterte’s impeachment

MANILA, Philippines — Only 25 members of the House of Representatives voted against Committee Report No. 261 which contains the articles of impeachment against Vice President Sara Duterte. Several lawmakers gave different explanations regarding their vote against Duterte’s impeachment. Bohol 2nd District Rep. Maria Vanessa Aumentado and Agusan del Norte Rep.
